If you go down in the woods today.......
I was delighted to join the Durham Wildlife Trust on a recent visit to Tudhoe Mill Wood - a hidden gem in my constituency.
This beautiful woodland reserve occupies the site of the former Tudhoe Mill drift mine and contains an abundance of of trees, flora and grasslands.
It is a fantastic natural resource on our doorstep where families and walkers can freely explore their local environment.
Tudhoe Mill Wood is managed by Durham Wildlife Trust and you can find out more on the Trust's website.
